Senior Network Technician

We’re looking for an experienced network technician who wants to help shape the networks of the future at Savecore. With us, you’ll combine strategic skills, hands-on implementation work, and expertise in complex network environments with drive and a solution-oriented approach. You are a technically skilled problem-solver with a passion for networking, security, and architecture in modern IT environments.

You will play a key role in planning, building, and developing network architecture in Savecore’s own data centers as well as in customer environments. You will also be responsible for driving network design, technical solutions, and consulting in the areas of infrastructure, security, and availability.

Working closely with our in-house technical teams and our customers, you will analyze needs, design solutions, and ensure the highest quality in delivery. The role requires both in-depth technical knowledge and a holistic perspective on infrastructure and architecture. You are also a strong communicator, well-organized, and enjoy working both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and optimize network solutions in Savecore’s data centers and hybrid environments.
• Participate in technical feasibility studies, analyses, and solution architecture.
• Serve as a consultant on networking issues related to security, redundancy, and performance.
• Troubleshoot and manage advanced network environments.
• Document network solutions and help improve procedures and processes.
• Work proactively to continuously improve and develop our services.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Several years of experience in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with routing, switching, firewalls, wireless networks, and WANs.
• A solid understanding of IT security in network environments.
• Swedish and English, fluent in both spoken and written forms at a professional level.

Preferred qualifications:

• Relevant college education.
• Relevant certifications in networking.
• Experience with OT networks.
• Experience with Cisco, BGP, Fortinet, Juniper, or Huawei.
• Experience from operations, consulting, or delivery organizations in the field of IT infrastructure.
• Knowledge of networking in cloud environments and automation.
