Savecore contributes to a more sustainable world with server and storage solutions optimized for customers’ operations while reducing electricity consumption.
Savecore’s data centers use only green electricity generated from wind and hydropower. All data is stored in Savecore’s own data centers in electricity price area SE2, which has the lowest carbon emissions from electricity generation in Sweden. With close to 100% green electricity from locally produced wind and hydropower, Savecore can offer environmentally sustainable data storage with less than one-fifth of the carbon emissions compared with the national average.
Savecore contributes to the local community through excellence in IT, in a municipality that is making ambitious investments in IT and technology with a strong focus on AI. As the company continues to grow, Savecore creates new job opportunities, contributes to increased tax revenues and aims to attract more people to the region through future recruitment of specialists in IT and cybersecurity.
Savecore travels only when absolutely necessary, and when travel is required, it is done as sustainably as possible. Older hardware is recycled or reused. And every day, Savecore works towards the goal of operating the greenest data center in northern Sweden.
